How Much Do You Have to Hate America?

How much do you have to hate America?

That is the question I keep asking myself as I watch angry mobs fill the streets of Los Angeles and other major cities, bankrolled by nefarious NGOs and other bad actors and vigorously defended by Democratic officeholders from Sacramento to Washington D.C.

Cars overturned and set ablaze… buildings ransacked and stores looted… law enforcement officers assaulted with rocks, bricks, and fireworks.

Is this America – the freest and most prosperous country on God’s green earth – or some war-torn third-world nation where, after years of oppression and abuse, the downtrodden masses are finally rising up against their despotic rulers?

My best guess is that most of the protestors (I prefer the term “agitators”) are clueless Millennials and Gen Zers who were raised in liberal homes by overly tolerant parents who couldn’t spell the word “discipline” if you handed them a dictionary. Since childhood, they have been breastfed by CNN, MSNBC, and other Progressive news outlets – as well as the public education system – to view America as the source of everything that is wrong in the world… from climate change to economic inequality.

Joining them in destroying the very neighborhoods they call home are immigrants, many of them living here illegally but enjoying the spoils that come with being an “undocumented citizen”.

I am still having trouble wrapping my head around that latest description for what we used to call “illegal aliens”, which became “illegal immigrants”, which became “undocumented immigrants”, which is now “undocumented citizens”. How on earth can someone who illegally entered our country be considered a citizen? If someone breaks into your house at night, does that make them a resident?

Free housing, free healthcare, free tuition, free phones… the list goes on and on. And yet, these unrepentant squatters have the audacity to protest against the very country that is offering them these freebies (at taxpayers’ expense).

I heard someone say the other day that the Progressive playbook is playing out before our very eyes. Their end game is revolution and a complete overthrow of everything America has stood for since 1776 – personal freedom coupled with personal responsibility, capitalism and the Protestant work ethic, and our founding Judeo-Christian principles. In order to accomplish that, they need to create riots in the streets and chaos in our communities.

Fomenting fear is what they do best.

If President Trump, who they hate with a passion, allows the mass public disorder to continue, they will portray him as weak and ineffective. However, if he clamps down and restores order, he will be demonized as a dictator… hence the No Kings movement.

Either way, they win – and America loses – at least from their twisted perspective.

However, I have more faith in the American people than that. I firmly believe that when push comes to shove, there are more patriots than there are anti-American activists, agitators, and anarchists. And if we stand together in a show of strength, determination, and resolve, I think these socialist vermin will crawl back into the holes from which they came.

Because they really don’t know how to fight; they only know how to whine, complain, and play the eternal victim card.
