Why Liberals & Logic Don’t Mix

Like oil and water, striped shirts with plaid pants, and Scots and Brits, some things simply don’t go together very well… or not at all.

Now you can add liberals and logic to that list.

I guess we’ve known it for years, but the coalition of radicals, leftists, and Progressives that make up today’s Democrat Party keep demonstrating how they defy logic and why they can’t be trusted with the reins of government.

Take for example, the recent ICE protests in Minneapolis.

Ignore the fact that the illegal aliens that ICE is seeking to arrest and deport invaded our country under Joe Biden’s lax immigration policies and are two-time criminals, meaning that they entered our country illegally and committed a secondary crime once they got here. That simply doesn’t register with libs, nor does it seem to matter even when you try to explain it to them.

“We’re here to arrest a child sex offender and you guys are out here honking,” an ICE agent told a reporter in Minneapolis last month.

When the reporter asserted that he was simply covering the protest as a member of the press – despite the fact that he was honking his car horn, too – the ICE agent repeated his claim.

“That vehicle right there is honking and impeding our investigations while we’re trying to arrest a child sex offender,” the ICE agent reiterated. “That’s who you guys are protecting. Insane,” he added before shaking his head and driving off.

Meanwhile, at one especially rowdy protest, agitators spray-painted “hang Kristi Noem,” “f-k ICE” and “the only good agent is a dead one” on the side of a car.

There is simply no explaining that kind of behavior other than to say that their TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) has morphed into IDS (ICE Derangement Syndrome). And apparently, this fatal disease is eating away at their brain cells because they prefer protecting child molesters to deporting them.

(They also don't seem to understand that showing up to protest and impede an ICE operation with a loaded gun isn't a good idea… especially the week after you spat on ICE agents, screamed a dozen F-bombs at them, begged for law enforcement officers to assault you, and then violently kicked in the taillight on a federal law enforcement vehicle… but that's a story for another day. So is the one about using your car to block an intersection where an ICE operation is taking place, refusing to get out of your vehicle when so ordered, and then hitting the gas when your lesbian lover tells you to. Sure, nothing could possibly go wrong in either case, right?)

Liberals also defy logic – and the American people – by continuing to object to the SAVE Act, which simply requires proof of citizenship to vote in a federal election. A recent Gallup poll showed that 84% of Americans favor Voter ID laws to prevent election fraud and yet, not a single Democratic senator supports them… which makes you ask yourself, “WHY?”

A photo ID is required to board a plane, cash a check, or pick up a prescription, so why shouldn’t it be required to vote for our elected officials, the very people who will be making the laws by which we will be governed? The only possible reason for opposing such a requirement is so you can cheat by allowing illegally registered voters to cast a ballot.

Now we’re on to something!

You see, the SAVE Act also mandates that states remove all noncitizens from their official voter rolls. In other words, those 10-15 million illegal aliens that Joe Biden and his co-conspirators allowed to pour across our southern border can’t return the favor by pulling the Democratic lever this November… or any future November.

And to make matters worse – at least from the libs’ standpoint – once the 2030 census rolls around, there are going to be a lot of blue states losing electoral votes because illegals will have been purged from their voter rolls and/or deported.

As Snidely Whiplash, the dastardly villain in the Dudley Do-Right cartoon, was known to say at the end of each episode when his fiendish plot failed, “Curses, foiled again!”

Speaking of fiendish plots gone afoul, this past week was not a good one for climate alarmists.

Vero Beach FL experienced its lowest temperatures in 15 years with wind chills in the single digits. Plants died and yes, iguanas fell from trees like coconuts. But I’m not complaining, because other parts of the country have had it much, much worse.

For instance, my mother-in-law lives in south-central PA and the lows each night have been near or below zero. New Jersey, where I’m from, got slammed with almost two feet of snow and the Tennessee River Valley is still recovering from a massive ice storm that knocked out power for days.

And yet, the liberals will still tell you that we are experiencing global warming… all the while they are huddled around their fireplaces or kerosene stoves, desperately trying to avoid frostbite.

Meanwhile, there is this report from the Guardian, a very liberal news outlet…

“The melting of sea ice in the Arctic has slowed dramatically in the past 20 years, scientists have reported, with no statistically significant decline in its extent since 2005. The finding is surprising, the researchers say, given that carbon emissions from fossil fuel burning have continued to rise and trap ever more heat over that time.”

Did you catch that? As “heat-trapping” carbon emissions have continued to rise, the melting of sea ice has slowed dramatically for the past two decades. That’s enough to make the lib’s heads explode… and poor little Greta Thunberg to break down in tears.

But alas, they will keep peddling their liberal lies as long as there is money to be made off their fearmongering. And so, here is their desperate – and somewhat comical – explanation of what went wrong…

This was only a “temporary reprieve”, the pseudo-scientists warned while asserting (without a shred of evidence) that melting is “highly likely to start again at about double the long-term rate at some point in the next five to 10 years.” The climate crisis remains “unequivocally real”, they added, and “the need for urgent action to avoid the worst impacts remains unchanged.”

Well, guess who didn’t get the memo about melting about to double?

New York City mayor Zohran Mandani, who is as radical as they come, has a mutiny on his hands because mountains of garbage have been piling up on snow drifts that refuse to melt throughout the Big Apple. Visibly flustered, the Communist-in-Chief of NYC is pleading for the dumbos who elected him to simply be patient.

"We are speaking about already one of the coldest periods in New York City history,” he said, “and what could end up being the coldest period in New York City history."

How about that? The dawn of a new Ice Age at a time when libs hate ICE agents with an irrational passion. Gotta love the irony.

Like I said before, liberals and logic do not mix. Never did and never will.

Editor's Note: As further evidence of the absolute illogic and hypocrisy of the liberal left, Kamala Harris, who ran for president on a "climate change is an existential threat" platform, just plunked down $8.15 million for a sprawling, cliffside mega-mansion in Malibu, CA. The four-bedroom, six-bath home sits on three-quarters of an acre and comes loaded with Malibu must-haves: a heated pool, in-ground spa, fire pit, gated entry (I assume to keep out all those illegal aliens) and postcard-perfect sightlines of the Pacific Ocean.

And here, we were all led to believe that the sea levels were rising at such a dramatic rate that Topeka, Kansas was soon going to be beachfront property.
